Whistle Punk Farm was launched in March 2012 and is nestled amidst the rolling hills and valleys of Keedysville, MD approximately 1 hour NW of Washington, DC and Baltimore. We are a small, diversified farm focused on producing exceptional pasture raised and grazed meats (eggs, chicken, beef & heritage pork) far superior to that which you can find in any local or National-brand chain store.
Whistle Punk Farm embraces a permaculture-like design to support the sustainable needs of the plants and animals on our farm. Animals are rotated through fields and forests to support a diversified, well-balanced diet of plants, nuts, grasses, legumes, vegetables, fruits, bugs, and nuts without depleting any one of its resources. Because animals are rotated every few days to new pasture or forest, they are healthier and do not suffer from parasites or need deworming medications or antibiotics to treat respiratory and other diseases brought about from confinement conditions. Our animals free-range in the sunshine throughout the year, birthing their young in our fields versus pens or cages, growing slowly by foraging on healthy, natural foods found in nature, and you will taste the difference in our meats. We offer individual USDA cuts of pork and eggs at the Williamsport Farmer’s Market on Saturdays from 10AM-2PM (March through December) and on-farm sales by appointment.
New for 2019, Whistle Punk Farm is offering mobile food concession services with our licensed food trailer! We will be serving up true farm to fork style foods made from locally sourced meats, veggies, and fruits from farmers in Washington and Frederick counties. Come on out and get some delicious food made with love while supporting your local sustainable farms!
